"Hope" by Hope Bollinger, Indiana, USA

You do not need to look far for miracles.  During a couple of spare hours this week, a full time student and friend of our church who met because she is the author of Deacon Mike's dads book surprised us all by revealing she is also a musician and composer.

This incredible young person wrote a wonderful book about Louie Benedict's life and his experiences during  World War II.  Just the other day she had some spare time, so instead of having a bowl of ice cream she apparently took a few minutes and composed and performed this magnificent musical work.  Click on the score to hear the first rendition - which is of course the beginning of a work in progress.

It is titled, "Hope"

Oh and by the way - this is the first time she ever tried to compose anything.  Incredible.  We plan to invite her to perform at the dedication of our new church and school in January.  God willing and the creek don't rise.
